Frontiers Ireland does not capture and store any personal information about individuals who access this website, except where you choose to give us your personal information.

 

This could include completing a Vision Survey, getting in touch with us or making a donation.

 

Frontiers Ireland does not receive or hold any credit card details for donations/payments made via this website. All credit card payments are handled by JustGiving through the link to their website. Secure Server Software (SSL) is used to encrypt all credit card information sent from this website. For more details see our Privacy Policy.

 

Why we collect information about you?

 

  •     To provide you with information about our work, including a weekly e-mail prayer update, bi-monthly newsletter & prayer news, and information about events, resources, fundraising or any other services described on our website.

  • To make sure we have an accurate record of all donations received.

  • To enhance or improve your experience on our website. When you indicate your preferences through our registration forms or through your use of our site, we may use this information to personalise the site to better meet your needs

  •     To process an application to join a Frontiers Ireland team either long term or short term.

The information we collect through the Frontiers Ireland will be used exclusively within Frontiers. We do not pass any of your personal information to any other organisations and/or individuals without your express consent.

To minimise the risk of unauthorised disclosure of your information, we will use some of your information to verify who you are when you contact us.

The information that you provide to Frontiers Ireland will be used to provide you with information about our work including weekly e-mail prayer updates, bi-monthly newsletter & prayer news, and information about events, resources, fundraising and other services and activities described on our website.

 

By providing your email address you are agreeing to your email address being used for the purposes of receiving emails that communicate the work of Frontiers Ireland.

Frontiers Ireland uses MailChimp to send regular emails. By providing us with your details you are giving Frontiers Ireland your express permission to transfer your data to MailChimp. If you do not give this permission then Frontiers Ireland will not be able to send emails to you.

 

Each time you receive an email you will be able to update your preferences and subscribe or unsubscribe from regular emails via MailChimp.

 

How long do we keep your information?

 

How long we keep your information collected through our website depends on the context in which you provided it.

 

We will keep information that is necessary for us to provide membership mailings, other resources and for statistical purposes.

 

We will keep records of any financial transactions you enter into with us for a minimum of six years. This will enable us to meet with accounting requirements and respond to any questions from you that arise during that period. Gift Aid forms and transactions must be kept for a minimum of 12 years after the Gift Aid is no longer valid.

 

Viewing the information we hold about you

 

You may request details of all the information Frontiers Ireland holds about you by submitting a written request to our data protection officer through a Subject Access request Form.
